Dermapen
Dermapen is a microneedling treatment that creates tiny holes on the surface of the skin. These holes stimulate the healing process of the skin through the production of new collagen and elastic fibers. We usually lose these proteins as we age, or when we develop acne, scars, or imperfections.
Usually certain products are used with the session to boost the results. These can be either platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or Mesotherapy (certain vitamins and ingredients depending on the case) or both.
How it is done:
The face is disinfected, and a numbing cream is applied. Then the Dermapen is passed on the surface of the skin and the products are applied to the skin at the same time.
In the case of plasma, a blood sample is withdrawn from the patient and then the plasma is separated from the blood using a special machine.
Pain tolerance:
Not painful.
